∎ Develop/modify and deliver technical training modules on technical and vocational skills and business development.
∎ Conduct training needs assessments to tailor programs to the needs of target beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure alignment of training programs with national and LSDS skills development frameworks.
∎ Facilitate hands-on demonstrations and capacity-building workshops for community service providers and participants.
∎ Contextualize and customized capacity of training module.
∎ Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and training institutes to ensure the effectiveness of capacity-building interventions.
∎ Develop referral linkages to apprenticeship programs and employment opportunities for trained beneficiaries.
∎ Support project teams in designing cash-for-work and livelihood support interventions.
∎ Ensure inclusivity in training programs, with a focus on women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
∎ Ensure common understanding of the module among the project staff.

∎ Organizational Brief: The Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) is a prominent environmental non-governmental organization (NGO) in Bangladesh, established in 1994. Since its inception, CNRS has actively engaged in its mission and has garnered recognition from various local, national, and international stakeholders, including government bodies and funding agencies, by showcasing innovative approaches and delivering significant learning outcomes.
∎ Background: The Integrated Services for Peace, Resilience, and Empowerment (INSPIRE) project is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and implemented with the technical support of the International Rescue Committee (IRC). It aims to address critical humanitarian gaps in Cox’s Bazar by enhancing access to health, education, protection, and livelihoods for Rohingya refugees and host communities. With over 1 million Rohingya facing security threats, limited services, and economic challenges, the project adopts a multi-sectoral, community-driven approach to promote resilience and social cohesion. Key interventions include improving life-saving health care services, , expanding technical and vocational training, food security support, strengthening disaster preparedness, and enhancing disability-inclusive services. Through partnerships with IRC, CNRS fosters sustainable development, improving food security, economic empowerment, and the protection of human rights, aligning with the 2025 Rohingya Refugee Crisis Joint Response Plan to ensure safe, dignified, and equitable access to essential services for vulnerable populations.
∎ Job Purpose: The Technical Training Specialist (TTS) will be responsible for identifying the clients for Non-formal technical training in coordination with the sectors, designing training, implementing, and evaluating technical skills and vocational training for both Rohingya refugees and host communities. The role requires expertise in Technical and Vocational training methodologies, technical planning, facilitation, implementation and stakeholder engagement to enhance technical skills of the project participants for employment generation and creating livelihood opportunities.
