Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including software manuals, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes.
∎ Develop FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and other support materials for end-users and developers.
∎ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
∎ Participate in product demos, meetings, and design sessions to understand new features and translate them into documentation.
∎ Research and stay up-to-date with software development trends, tools, and best practices.
∎ Establish and maintain documentation templates and standards across projects.
∎ Organize documentation for easy navigation and accessibility by developers, clients, and non-technical users.
∎ Ensure all technical content adheres to company guidelines and branding.
∎ Create user-centric content for diverse audiences, from beginner users to experienced developers.
∎ Develop engaging content that simplifies complex workflows, ensuring users can efficiently utilize the software.
∎ Gather feedback from internal teams and external users to continuously improve the quality and relevance of documentation.
∎ Edit and proofread content created by developers or other team members to maintain clarity and consistency.
∎ We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals, API guides, and product descriptions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for a variety of audiences.
