∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Willingness to work in a factory environment and respond to off-hour emergencies if needed.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems, including split units, package units, chillers, freezers, and cold storage units.
∎ Diagnose and repair faults in AC and refrigeration systems (compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, etc.).
∎ Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of temperature-controlled areas to ensure consistent performance.
∎ Install new AC and refrigeration systems and ensure correct refrigerant charging and system balancing.
∎ Maintain logs and service records for all units and repairs performed.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety standards and refrigerant handling regulations.
∎ Assist in energy efficiency initiatives by recommending system upgrades or maintenance best practices.
∎ Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
∎ Coordinate with other departments (e.g., electrical, mechanical, production) for smooth operations.
∎ Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
∎ Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals.
∎ Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
∎ Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
∎ Sourcing replacement parts.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers and clients.
∎ Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
∎ Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and repair techniques.
∎ Familiar with industrial HVAC systems and cold storage technologies.
∎ Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
∎ Understanding of safety practices and refrigerant regulations.
∎ We are seeking a skilled “Technician – AC & Refrigeration” to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all air conditioning, refrigeration, and climate control systems across the factory (Jhenaidah). This role ensures optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to support uninterrupted production and safe working conditions.
