Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance discipline from a reputed university

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure day to day accounting and recording daily transactions in the books of accounts/accounting software package through proper coding at unit level;
∎ Ensure all expenses made are reasonable, accurate and in compliance with cost principles procedures of the program and verified in the validity and approved by a designated person before payment;
∎ Ensure all accounting source documents are accurately preserved and all financial activities are kept in a true and fair manner;
∎ Prepare monthly report on all proceeds, contributions, miscellaneous expenditures, advances, VAT and income tax deductions as per Gov’t rules and required by the management;
∎ Daily banking and maintain a good functional linkage with bank;
∎ Collection all kinds of expenditure voucher and preserve it as per project need including petty cash;
∎ Act as a cashier in the time of purchase and selling of asset in the hat/market;
∎ Saving received, maintaining records of accounts and deposit to bank;
∎ Facilitate in internal and external audit;
∎ Randomly field visit as per project need using local transports/office vehicles;
∎ Arrange accommodations, tickets, transportation for the project personnel if requested;
∎ Booking of venues for the project training and necessary administrative and logistic support;
∎ Ensure the safety and security arrangement of the unit office;
∎ Manage store of stationeries, FF&E and arrange organize physical inventory;
∎ Ensure that all purchase requests are processed and materials are procured maintaining the desired quality and prepare monthly report on all procurement process. Take proactive role in bringing to the notice of appropriate authorities, if the quality of any materials procured and supplied are found inferior and suggest appropriate measures;
∎ Ensure, manage and control community contributions, asset transfer to the selected beneficiaries and manage it efficiently.
∎ Any other activities assigned by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent skills on book keeping and accounting;
∎ Knowledge on internal/external audit;
∎ Able to make efficient plan and optimum utilization of available resources;
∎ Able to drive motor cycle with valid license and frequent field visit;
∎ Willing to stay in remote areas;
∎ Able to operate accounting related software;
∎ Able to prepare periodical financial reports;
∎ Good command on financial documentation and filing;
∎ Knowledge on professional English and Bangla writing with computer literacy;
∎ At least 3 years’ working experiences in accounting of similar nature project or in program implementation in any national or international organizations.
