Job Context:
∎ DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Upazila Officer for its “Equitable Access and Resilient Life for the marginalized communities in Bangladesh (EARL)” Project. This position is reserved for only female candidates. It is a multidimensional project supported by HEKS/EPER Bangladesh. HEKS/EPER Bangladesh aims to promote inclusion of the Dalit and Adibashi communities through strengthening their access towards basic services and entitlements and economic empowerment.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and monitor the Community Development Organiser assigned to her.
∎ Provide necessary support and guidance to the supervisees.
∎ Maintain an effective coordination specially with upazila administration (UNO and other relevant offices)
∎ Maintain good liaison with local government institutions, other service providing agencies.
∎ Manage finance related issues following financial policy and compliances that are relevant to implement community and upazila level project activities.
∎ Represent HEKS-PNGO on behalf of the project at various arena: GO-NGO, CSOs, employers, etc.
∎ Regularly produce project progress report, submit the same to UNO office and attend monthly Upazila NGO coordination meeting.
∎ Maintain liaison with the relevant youth committees, groups, association to assist PC, Technical Officer (Livelihood/Skill Development), Technical Officer (Advocacy) to achieve the ultimate goals of the project.
∎ The employee may be asked to perform duties and tasks not covered in this job. description within the remit of their expertise, as well as to provide support to other work areas when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 years experiences in managing and implementing of a multidimensional project in any national and international organisation.
∎ Various income generating activities is must and Organizing, skill development linkage and job placement of youth.
∎ Working experience with Dalit, Adibashi and other disadvantaged group will be considered as an advantage.
∎ Excellent coordination and communication skill.
∎ Proficient in team management and coordination.
∎ Demonstrated experiences on youth mobilization.
∎ Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing in mandatory.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 36610 (Monthly)
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, PF, Gratuity, Leave Benefit and Insurance as per policy.
