∎ Computer literacy is must, especially in office package. Self-motivated, responsible, amiable and goal oriented. Should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong communication abilities in Bangla and English both oral and written.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Raising awareness to the workers regarding the rules & regulations, disciplinary issues, various policies & procedures, rights & responsibilities, EHS & Hygiene issues through training-orientation & communication.
∎ Provide counsel to the employees on disciplinary issues, work related issues, career development opportunities within the organization.
∎ Keep regular supervision on hazardous jobs, accident prevention and supervision of safety committee, perform risk assessment with keeping records and give safety education to the respective employees based on finding(s).
∎ Check suggestion/ complaint boxes, collect suggestions/ complaints (if any), share with the management, solve & give feedback on traced issues/ matters.
∎ Organize meetings of PC, EHS and other committees and keep records for further reference. Reduce & resolve employee conflicts and grievances (if any).
∎ Ensure safety of vulnerable employees like - pregnant ladies (if any), physically challenged employees in the factory.
∎ Management of maternity leave and benefits as per labor law.
∎ Create awareness program to absentee workers & late workers in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover.
∎ Provide assistance in due leave, social & cultural events, medical services, canteen facilities, childcare facilities and any other legal benefits as applicable by law.
∎ Perform exit interview with resigned/released employees, know the reasons of their resignation, keep records, update the management to take proper corrective action (if any)
∎ Communicate with the employees about the best practices of the organization.
∎ Keep and maintain all necessary training, motivational, orientational, EHS related records for further reference.
∎ Maintaining a good relationship with factory management, staffs and workers.
∎ Should have knowledge on Disciplinary action procedure as per labor code 2006 (amended 2013) & rules 2015.
∎ Perform other duties as and when assign by the superior.
