Educational Requirements:
∎ A bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Process payment through JDE, Citibank online banking / S2B Banking (BDT, US$ and other currency) and issue manual checks as necessary.
∎ Record cash and bank disbursement entries in JDE timely, accurately as to account, amount, and period.
∎ Maintain good filing record for finance, internal and external audit access.
∎ Extend full support to Treasury Supervisor through get the payment instruments signed by the proper signatory as per Payment DOA.
∎ Prepare monthly account reconciliation for assigned accounts in compliance with corporate reconciliation guidelines. Update account reconciliation documents in a timely manner to ensure nature, purpose and frequency of GL account used are identified.
∎ Analyze and resolve any un-reconciled account. Submit reconciliation statements to Manager / Supervisor for review in a timely manner.
∎ Assisting Manager / Supervisor in maintaining banking relationship
∎ Non routine inquiries and requests assigned by Manager / Supervisor.
∎ Administer petty cash disbursement; ensure cash disbursement is made on time with good tracking record, supporting document that comply with Chevron policies.
∎ Administer of Vault.
∎ Meet customer petty cash requirement on timely basis & ensure compliance and policy adherence regarding petty cash use.
∎ Keep petty cash use as appropriate and manage reimbursement on timely manner.
∎ Prepares Reconciliation Statement of Petty cash for Chevron Dhaka Office.
∎ En cash Foreign Currency Checks of Expatriate Employees on their behalf.
∎ Withdraw of Funds as required for Petty Cash.
∎ Receives Check/Cash Refund (BDT/US$/++) from Employees against their TEA/Training, Advance Adjustment, etc. & deposit to Bank.
∎ Update Deposit Check List (BDT/US$/++).
∎ Payment Check Disbursement to Vendors.
∎ Sends Checks, Pay Orders, Demand Draft to Chevron Sylhet, MB, JB, BBY Office.
∎ Assist Tax and Treasury Accounting Team in related jobs as and when required.
∎ Finance Team Assistant role.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years' experience in supplier payment processing, withholding tax and vat accounting, petty cash management and related treasury support.
∎ Other Considerations:
∎ Advanced skills in MS office, Excel based tools
∎ Strong interpersonal, communication skills, enthusiasm and self-driven.
∎ Experience in JDE, SMART and banking application.
