Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Master's or bachelor's degree in environmental science, Chemical engineering, HRM/ LLB.
∎ ISO45001/ISO9001/SA8000 certified will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop, implement, and maintain the organization's compliance standard, occupational health & safety, Chemical safety, and environmental safety as per local law and retailer code of conduct.
∎ To conduct internal audit in the light of Labor Law, Factory Rules, buyer COC, ZDHC & Higg index guidelines and prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) & 5why/ fishbone method Root Cause Analysis (RCA) against audit reports.
∎ To face 3rd party audits, i.e., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, CT-PAT, GOTS, OCS, RCS, FSC, BWB, SLCP, FCCA, ISO-9001, ISO-45001, ISO-14001, etc Brand visit and able to take necessary initiative to remedy of all non-compliance findings consecutively.
∎ Follow the RSL & MRSL and maintain them strictly. Ensure to collect the original SDS, TDS, guarantee letter and other certificates from suppliers.
∎ Ensure the guidelines of the ZDHC & Higg (FEM & FSLM) Index about Energy Use i.e. GHG, Water, Waste Water, Waste Management, Chemical management, and Sludge Management.
∎ Responsible for maintaining all kinds of legal licenses and liaising with agencies/organizations (government or private) like Labour Office, Environment Office, Local Influences, etc. to renew them on a regular basis as required.
∎ Interact with factory paperwork floor personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and make them aware of maintaining better compliance standards.
∎ Arrange group discussions, and meetings, conduct all necessary in-house training programs, and conduct fire or chemical drill in every month.
∎ Review and update all legal documents, certificates, and licenses from time to time by communicating with the specific authorities.
∎ Maintain a good relation between workers and management to avoid any grievance.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Proficient in MS Office Package
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Should have sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act - 2006, Amendment act - 2013, Sromo Bidhimala 2015, Bangladesh EPZ Labor Act - 2019, Bangladesh EPZ Labor Rules - 2021, Higg Index, ZDHC guideline.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in Accord, Alliance & Nirapon.
∎ Able to work in stressful situations.
∎ Adaptable, pro-active, innovative and must be able to work independently.
