Job Responsibilities:
∎ To overall follow up finished fabric quality and delivery to finished fabric store & subsequent Cutting Dept. after reviewing with physical quality requirement.
∎ For buyer LIDL, KIABI, Jennyfer, having lab test report batch wise of color fastness, shrinkage/twisting, GSM, Hand feel, Appearance against Approved Standard or PP Sample Fabric.
∎ To ensure correct shade band/ shade family/ color continuity against approved shade or PP fabric standard.
∎ Identify the problems, analyze the main cause and share with production people to fix any dyeing & finishing related problem and give commercial solution instantly without production schedule hampering.
∎ Give technical decision to dyeing finishing for any fail reports and improving quality further when required.
∎ Responsible to follow up the sample dyeing quality as well (PP sample) parallel to bulk dyeing & finishing fabric quality.
∎ Responsible to handle the Buyer representative - Lidl, KIABI, Jennyfer regarding fabric quality and BD Team shade approvals.
∎ Responsible for fabric quality of both Internal Dyeing & Finishing work as well as job work (subcontract dyeing done for other parties).
∎ Collecting Grey QC batch reports and ensuring dye lots are matching with yarn lot.
∎ Each roll must have ticket with order specific data mentioned. Rolls must be categorized according to shade family, e.g. A , A1 , A2, B, B1, B2 etc.
∎ Maintain a strong Dyeing Quality organogram as per QMS requirement.
∎ Coordinate with Cutting Dept. regarding Dia (Cuttable width), GSM, Shade, Dyeing faults, Knitting faults to minimize short quantity of Cutting Dept. and ensure marker efficiency & consumption is ok as per booking
∎ Work closely with Dyeing & Finishing GPQ Team and have technical files & reports ready whenever necessary for correct report keeping for each fabric batch that is finished.
∎ For QMS Dept. each month prepare the fabric quality data (physical and chemical of in-house lab for each fabric batch finished), analyze, identify root cause for quality related dyeing problems and keep CAP record to prevent same problems repeating.
