Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or English; or relevant degree.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Press invitation, Press Release, Rejoinder, Corrigendum and various types of promotional report and features, success stories for print/electronic media, Social media, Website and Newsletter.
∎ Drafting letters or contents for stakeholders and media personnel on behalf of the organization.
∎ Develop PR strategy to promote the organization as a brand (branding).
∎ Organize Press Conference, Seminar, Workshops and the like
∎ Make congratulatory letters to the anniversary of the media and individuals.
∎ Strong networking with the journalist community.
∎ Creating and updating of Journalist's database including ICT journalists, Business reporters and ICT/ Technology page editors.
∎ Creating visibility of the events and activities through media coverage.
∎ Engage people to the organization's official Facebook page.
∎ Performs other duties as and when assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s) in the mainstream/reputed media
∎ Previous experiences at newspaper/media house as a journalist will be given preference.
∎ Good communication skills in English & Bengali especially in written communication
∎ Knowledge on social media marketing through facebook, youtube, twitter, linked-in, instagram etc.
∎ Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Web Development will be an added advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
