Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters in Textile Engineering or BBA / MBA in Apparel Merchandising from Reputed Universities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicating with buyers by mail (mostly) for new queries as well as updates,
∎ Meeting with vendors for trims & accessories
∎ Plan for new season sampling and production orders & meet the shipment timely
∎ Collecting of garment samples, trims and different types of swatches from the vendors,
∎ Submission of samples to buyer through courier,
∎ Follow up with buyers for approvals and feedback,
∎ Follow up factories for production, Sample development /Follow up
∎ Assist Manager to meet the shipment timely
∎ Perform all other job assigned by Department Head/ Manager.
∎ Plan, follow and manage T & A on sales samples, order samples and bulk order.
∎ Has knowledge about fabric knitting and dying.
∎ Sourcing new fabrics/trims /embellishments/factories/mills.
∎ The candidate should be technically sound in Garments costing & manufacturing process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Positive minded for good work.
∎ Candidates must have the ability to monitor activities from sampling/development, production up to shipment.
∎ Attentive manner towards detailed requirements is essential.
∎ Strong experience knit costing sourcing and production tracking activities.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in yarn construction, washing, cutting, sewing, trims & accessories.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handing very demanding customers.
∎ Make sure Time of delivery is on time.
Salary: Negotiable
