Job Context:
∎ UNIgas has constructed a state-of-the-art LPG Import, Storage, Bottling and Distribution Terminal & a Cylinder Manufacturing Plant in Sitakunda, Chattogram. The Main Terminal is located at Sitakunda in Chattogram and satellite stations are being set up across the country. The company is looking for dynamic, self-motivated and high performing individuals for the position:
∎ Job Location: Mother Plant, Sitakundu, Chattogram.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Quality Control & Quality Assurance is the first priority of each & every operation & production field.
∎ Responsible for leading the QA/QC department and related activities, attend in meeting with senior management, vendors, suppliers, foreigner and internal department & personnel.
∎ Supervision of all works as per LPG Cylinder Specification DOT-4BA(HSE), DOT-4BW(HSE), EN1442.
∎ Monitor the welding Procedure qualifications (PQR) to development of WPS.
∎ Inspection mill certificate of raw materials as per standards.
∎ Inspection & Quality control of metal forming press line (300kn, 150kn & 100kn), trimming & joggling, De-greasing, welding (SMAW, SAW, TIG & MIG), heat treatment process, Hydro test, Air leak test, shot blasting, zinc coating, electrostatic painting/powder coating & curing and etc.
∎ NDT operation (X-ray) with dark room facilities, Film interpretation, NDT reporting, etc.
∎ Assist to supply chain management department for purchase raw materials & consumables, create new vendors & etc.
∎ Inspection and development of LPG cylinder manufacturing process & Quality control.
∎ Inspection & control of all (Visual Test/Hydro-statique Test /Air Leak Test/Drop Test/Mechanical Test/Burst Test Carry out the Cylinders inspection for delivery.
∎ Witness & Control for the Laboratory/Non-Destructive test /Destructive test / Heat treatment / valve Torque value etc.) for LPG cylinder manufacturing.
∎ Take initiative action & discussion with Head of Departments for rectification and development of quality related issue of production
∎ Manage staff, preparing work schedules, reporting, documentation, etc.
∎ Other tasks / job as assigned by head of the department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five (05) years of experience in quality department of any manufacturing plant.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, problem solver & quick learner with good interpersonal skills.
∎ NDT Level 02 Certification, RCO Certification and Welding related Certification (AWS/CSWIP) will be considered as an added advantage.
