Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supplier Relationship:
∎ Communicate with ZXY active suppliers to renew their social and environmental certification.
∎ Organize all documents related to social and environmental certificates online for easy access of team.
∎ Prepare and maintain a tracker consisting of all supplier details on a regular basis.
∎ Communicate and follow up with suppliers via email on a priority basis.
∎ Collect information on all Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects and best practices implemented by suppliers and share the information with team when required.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Receive compliance/audit request from supervisor sent by Business Units (BUs), to conduct initial audit and record the requests both in hard and soft copies.
∎ Communicate with suppliers to conduct ZXY select annual or follow-up audit with announced/semi-announced/unannounced window period.
∎ Follow up with suppliers to receive Corrective Action Plan Reports (CAPR) from their end.
∎ Design schedule for team members to conduct internal audit on a weekly/monthly basis and submit it to supervisor for approval.
∎ Assist in preparing and maintaining documents for ISO 9001 certification for ZXY HQ.
∎ Maintain buyer-wise factory list and update it regularly with necessary certifications and information.
∎ Monitor validity of social and environmental certifications of suppliers and keep certificate database updated by communicating with them and submit weekly summary report to supervisor.
∎ Coordination with Quality Team:
∎ Categorize geographical regions into Zones and maintain tracker accordingly for all active suppliers.
∎ Allocate Independent Quality Auditors’ (IQA) factory visit zone-wise as advised by supervisor and share the database with them.
∎ Collect IQA inspection reports to keep records.
∎ Correspond with Quality team to receive fire safety checklist to keep record and submit weekly summary to supervisor for necessary steps.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 years of experience in the field of Compliance & Quality in a factory or buying office
∎ Must be sound data management, reporting, making presentations and maintaining communication with internal & external parties
∎ Should have basic knowledge of Quality and Compliance practices in the Apparel Industry
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advanced level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines
