∎ For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for DENIM WASH TECHNICIAN
∎ Position requires very organized, proactive, problem solver who has good knowledge about denim wash and technology & also with strong knowledge on denim fabrication.
∎ The successful candidate will work closely with the Merchandise Team, Sourcing manager, Technician, Quality Assurance Officers, Suppliers and Buyers in Europe.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The process of the production samples, validating measurements, construction, wash and workmanship of the garments and maintaining quality control.
∎ Working in collaboration with buyers, designers and production managers to ensure proper interpretation of styling details and fit standards.
∎ Follow-up and daily communication with suppliers.
∎ Risk analysis in pre-production stage & lead to solution
∎ Resolve manufacturing problems
∎ Lead fit sessions with live models or dummies.
∎ Organize and manage required corrections to patterns.
∎ Train supplier to meet TW standards.
∎ Pre-production & Production:
∎ Follow up program & production company protocol
∎ To control the various samples: check and confirm the PP sample based on the approved counter sample and comments of the head office
∎ Inline inspections: based on the approved PP samples attend to the inline inspections, control the production, detect the quality problems, advise the factory how to improve the problems. Follow up the corrections.
∎ Pre final & Final inspection: based on the approved PP samples and the inline inspection reports check the produced garments, report to the head office, in case of any problem suggest solutions for the factory and for the head office as well. Follow up the corrections.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience as wash technician in a fashion wear company
∎ Deep garment technology knowledge is mandatory. (denim products)
∎ Organized, and self-motivated person, able to work independently and also in a team within a fast paced environment
∎ Challenge explorer & passionate to run after trouble shooting at production stage.
∎ Excellent English knowledge verbally and in written
∎ Fashion is your passion
∎ Must have knowledge on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
∎ Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
