∎ Job Summary:
∎ Deputy Director (HR & Admin) is the Head of HR & Administration department. S/he will provide all out support to make sure smooth running of POPI`s administrative and HR management activities. Along with regular HR & administrative tasks, this position is also responsible for logistics management, procurement and other concerned services. The Deputy Director shall maintain an adequate control on resources ensure compliance with POPI`s policies and procedures and donor requirements. S/he has to maintain close collaboration with all staff to ensure optimum utilization of available resources for achieving organizational goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Frame and design policies and strategies, rules and procedures, develop overall HR operations in the organization's HR and compliance system, maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
∎ Prepare workforce planning, search resourceful employee, manage and improve recruitment and selection process, develop creative and innovative methods to improve employees' profile.
∎ Ensure a timely and relevant staff induction, design and implement skill development porgrammes, conduct need assessment for staff capacity development and assists to design and organize demand driven (high quality, interactive, effective) training events, workshops and orientations.
∎ Administer or oversee the administration of human resource activities including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety with ensuring all legal compliances.
∎ Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with prevailing employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices.
∎ Ensure constructive and timely performance evaluations.
∎ Execute and perform all sorts of responsibilities of the administration and human recourse (HR) department according to the policies and guidelines of the organization through efficient, disciplined and productive ways.
∎ Focus to make all out efforts for maximizing the efficiency, performance and productivity of the personnel working in different departments, units and projects of the organization and also to guide and facilitate them for delivering the highest level of outcome for the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years experience in managing HR & Administration independently.
∎ Excellent fluency in English as well as in Bengali languages.
∎ Have proven leadership quality to lead HR & Admin department and ensure friendly working atmosphere.
∎ Dynamic, well energetic and pro-activeness with problem solving analytical skills.
∎ ICT Savvy.
∎ Willingness to travel in the programme area outside of Dhaka.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
Salary:
∎ Grand Pay: BDT.92,130/-, Net Pay: BDT. 84,588/= (included all allowances)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ After Probationary period s/he will be eligible for city allowance, yearly increment, three annual festival bonuses, contributory provident fund, gratuity and other facilities as per organization's policy.
