Responsibilities & Context
Position: Account Officer
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and maintain cash books, bank books, ledgers, and journal vouchers.
Prepare bills, invoices, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Handle daily cash transactions, petty cash, and bank-related activities.
Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets.
Maintain proper records of VAT, Tax, TDS, and other statutory documents.
Assist in preparing salary sheets, expense reports, and monthly management reports.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
Assist in internal and external audits and provide necessary supporting documents.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
