Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fabric,wet processing, Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Technology
∎ Tertiary education, preferably in textiles, clothing, or business-related disciplines.
∎ Bangladesh University of Textiles,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Color approval (Lab dip/AOP/Bulk Fabric).
∎ Graphic/ print/ strike-off approvals.
∎ Fabric & product testing review, override approval.
∎ Color and fabric risk assessment during the development stage.
∎ Manage color standards and color palettes.
∎ Connect and liaise with approved testing labs.
∎ Work with tech/merch teams on care label/care code selections.
∎ Product Safety risk assessment.
∎ Color and fabric technical support to vendors/internal teams.
∎ Knowledge of testing requirements for international markets.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5-7 years experience in Apparel or Mill Sector.
∎ Must have a very good understanding of the color review process.
∎ Must have a very good understanding of knitting, dyeing & finishing processes.
∎ Must have sound knowledge of testing procedures & requirements.
∎ Must have sound knowledge of the operating of the spectrophotometer.
∎ Knowledge of Tie-dye, Dip Dye, Garment dye & Garment wash will be an added advantage.
∎ Immediate availability will be an added advantage.
∎ In-Depth knowledge of the various fabric processes - including weaving/knitting/printing.
∎ Superior color vision (as indicated by the Munsell Hue color test).
∎ Experience of Europe/USA Customers will have an added advantage.
∎ Excellent organizational skills (emails, charts, filing, managing by priorities).
∎ Good computer skills.
∎ Good Communication in English (Oral & Written).
Salary: Negotiable
