∎ Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct Community/Urban Risk assessment at ward level/Union level/Pouroshava level and follow up the action plan implement by the designated authority.
∎ Conduct PRA at community level & develop Village Risk Assessment Plan and implement the plan as per community need.
∎ Implement climate resilience measurement for communities’-CRMC tool at the community level
∎ Select targeted population and form groups& CBO as per the project and organizational guideline.
∎ Conduct Group/CBO meeting on regular basis and establish linkage with UDMC, Union Parishad and Upazila Parishad to get better services.
∎ Assist to arrange events on DRM/DRR/CCA planning and its successful implementation.
∎ Assist Union parishad for budget preparation and increased finance/improve spending for DRR/CCA/Resilience building activities at community level.
∎ Assist to conduct study on CRMC/PERC or any other project related issues and implement the activities based on the studies.
∎ Formation/reformation of UDMC/ UzDMC/WDMC and engage the community people (women/youth)in that committee and make it regularly functional.
∎ Assist conduct training for Local Resilience Agents (youth volunteers)/task force groups on DRR & CCA, early warning, rescue, evacuation, and response skills.
∎ Work closely with the Project Coordinator to execute and oversee assigned tasks under ZCRP.
∎ To Ensure improved risk management knowledge and practice across key sectors of livelihoods and wellbeing in targeted communities.
∎ Improve Upazila plans, policies, and regulations including land use planning and management to support climate resilience that are adequately finance and fully implement at community level.
∎ Coordinate project activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with program objectives and donor requirements.
∎ Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, NGOs, and other partners.
∎ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
∎ Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work plans, budgets, progress reports, and evaluations.
∎ Support the Project Coordinator in identifying opportunities for project expansion, replication, or scaling up.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and standards, including environmental and social safeguards.
∎ Liaise with project stakeholders to promote participation, gather input, and address concerns or feedback.
∎ Organize meetings, focus group discussions, and other events to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning exchanges among project stakeholders.
∎ Develop and share effective monthly, quarterly and annual plans of operation.
∎ Prepare and review the budget according to the work plan, ensure stick adherence to the organizational financial policies and guideline in project expenditures.
∎ Engage and participate in other activities as will be deemed necessary for project implementation and will be assigned by your supervisors.
