Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop a strategy for communicating and managing knowledge to ensure effective sharing of monitoring, evaluation, research findings, case studies, lessons learned, and best practices.
∎ Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps within specific sectors (e.g., SMEs, Financial Institutions and Investors).
∎ Develop a client-centred knowledge management approach and/or customise a knowledge management approach according to the needs of stakeholders.
∎ Design and conduct various surveys, research and assessments at the field level about the progress, deviations and results of the Programme interventions.
∎ Collect the necessary information about the stakeholders’ recommendations to the Programme and the contextual changes on the ground to support the Programme Team Lead to make the Programme adaptive with appropriate Programme interventions and implementation strategies.
∎ Lead development and presentation of relevant information for evidence-based learning and decision-making.
∎ Guide and oversee the development of new knowledge management (KM) methods, processes, tools and platforms, with a user-focused approach to capture collaboration, evidence and research utilisation across stakeholders.
∎ Design, coordinate and/or implement impactful knowledge-sharing events.
∎ Participate in the design/implementation of monitoring and evaluation of knowledge management interventions.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reportings.
∎ JOB CONTEXT
∎ Applications are invited from knowledge management professionals willing to contribute as a Knowledge Management Expert to the “Access to Green Financing for Enterprises” programme supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and implemented by iMPACT Booster Holding B.V. in partnership with Truvalu and One to Watch.
∎ “Access to Green Financing for Enterprises” is a multi-year programme that aims to facilitate capacity development, technical assistance, and access to green financing for SMEs across all sectors in Bangladesh. The programme will actively engage with SMEs, financial institutions (FIs), investors, and policymakers to facilitate access to green financing for SMEs, aiding them in both adapting to and mitigating the risks associated with climate change. As part of the program, the focus will be on ensuring that financial institutions and investors are equipped to provide targeted green financing and pragmatic risk management for high-impact small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This strategic initiative involves actively engaging with financial institutions (FIs) and investors to enhance their capacity to deliver specialised green financing solutions. By bolstering the capabilities of these key stakeholders, the program aims to strengthen the overall ecosystem for sustainable finance, ensuring that SMEs receive the necessary support to adapt to and mitigate the risks associated with climate change. The programme is expected to generate a positive impact by empowering marginalised communities and SMEs in Bangladesh, fostering climate resilience and developing low-carbon solutions.

∎ JOB OBJECTIVES
∎ This position requires strong research, writing, and editing skills, an understanding of climate change issues and environmental impact measurement, and strong writing and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
