∎ Training/Trade Course: Diploma in apparel merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Zaman Fashionwear Limited is a 100% Export Oriented Woven Industry. Business: 100% Export Oriented Woven Industry having currently approximates 1200 manpower which is expanding day by day. Company is accumulating all modern machineries and equipment`s from renowned companies for its better productivity & quality. We are currently looking for a General Manager who is ready to take the overall responsibility of the factory.
∎ Candidates who have understanding about the current situation of export oriented woven industry and take it as a challenge to move forward to achieve the target is encouraged to apply.
∎ Applicant who is currently holding similar position and with the defense background will be preferred.
∎ Job Location: Gazipur (Mawna, Sreepur)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Initially will be responsible for all buyer coordination at head office & factory
∎ Building a strong network with business partners and renowned buyers to explore new opportunities for business expansion;
∎ Acquiring Monthly target and value.
∎ Targeted Style follows up and costing with good profit margin.
∎ All Approval collection and payment confirmation from Buyer.
∎ Raw material in-house follow-up
∎ Monitor the factory operation including production planning and management and ensure the timely delivery of quality products;
∎ Vessel Schedule/ Container Follow-up (Full or loose / cheap or expensive).
∎ Formulate and implement strategic plan for Merchandising to achieve on-time & quality shipment.
∎ Play the role of the key team leader for each and every team of merchandising to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Monitoring the team members activities and maintain KPI.
∎ Regularly organize in-house training for the merchandising team as well as identify the non-performer and solve their problem to improve their activities.
∎ Coordinate among all other operational departments of the factory and solve the problem.
∎ To maintain tight control on cost and expense; ensure the business is driven forward and the financial targets are met.
∎ Building a strong network with business partners and explore new opportunities for business expansion;
∎ Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): International Marketing, Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
∎ Can lead local & foreign buyer meeting independently;
∎ Strong risk management, execution ability, sense of responsibility with business savvy;
∎ Self-driven, results-oriented & having good interpersonal relationship; and
∎ Ability to coach and train subordinate on subject expert knowledge.
Salary:
