Responsibilities & Context
Operate and monitor generators to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Perform regular inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of generators.
Check engine oil, coolant, fuel level, battery, belts, and other components regularly.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Start, stop, and operate generators safely according to operational procedures.
Maintain proper records of generator operation, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
Ensure timely replacement of oil, filters, batteries, and other required parts.
Monitor generator performance and report any abnormalities or faults to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and safety around the generator room.
Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper handling of fuel and equipment.
Coordinate with technicians and maintenance teams for major repairs when required.
