Job Context:
∎ Smart Innovations is looking for an HR candidate for its non-profit school, Smart Innovations School, to work alongside the school management focused on the vision and mission of the school, and to lead the human resources department.
∎ The position is designed for the purposes of managing assigned operations in accordance with school policies; providing information to all stakeholders; ensuring compliance to established policies, procedures and/or codes, draft and modify where required to meet the compliance requirements; and addressing a variety of other administrative needs and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation, modification, finalisation of school policies by ensuring compliance with local requirements followed by implementation
∎ Documentation and processing of employment requirements for expat and locals
∎ Visa Processing (End-to-End -- Advertisement to Security Clearance and Visa Renewals) for expats
∎ Coordination and ensuring services with bank(s), apartment owners, travel agencies and other services from time to time for employee needs
∎ Prepares measurable goals and objectives for evaluating employee performance
∎ Provide and coordinate trainings for staff development
∎ Develop relations with organisations to form partnerships beneficial to the school
∎ Maintain employment records
∎ Organise and conduct team building activities
∎ Prepare, provide, revise, review documentations required by school for various certifications and authorisations to meet local compliance standards
∎ Formalisation of the organisation structure and manpower planning for the school
∎ CO-OPERATION WITH ADMIN:
∎ Support expat services and needs to ensure timely resolution of challenges
∎ Ensure local compliance requirements for functioning of school are up to date
∎ Coordination and ensuring timely delivery of services from the vendors
∎ CO-OPERATION WITH FINANCE:
∎ Draft contracts, agreements for employees and/or vendors
∎ Policies with financial implications must be approved by school finance and corporate finance
∎ Coordinate, organise, conduct activities within budgets shared by school finance
∎ Development of yearly manpower budget
