Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. in Textile Engineering/Industrial Engineer/ IPE from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop, execute & maintain a robust Production management system by using of technology for production excellence at desired level.
∎ Lead IE team with modern IE tools and method and increase productivity and efficiency through different method Study & line balancing.
∎ Calculate non-productive time, reduce defects and wastage, garments manufacturing process breakdown, perfect machine layout.
∎ Prepare production layout for the floor for effective utilization of man, machine and materials and analyzing productivity and calculate efficiency.
∎ Formulate production plan based on machine, manpower, study the m/c layout to achieve the optimum productivity and order allocation in sewing lines based on SMV on a regular basis.
∎ Implementing innovations to reduce cost and increase productivity.
∎ Adopt best industrial engineering practices in every possible area for better efficiency, productivity and ensure optimization of resources.
∎ Analysis root case of low production and collect lost time against low production and clarify.
∎ Monitor line-wise production report on hourly output basis and study individual operator's performance.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of man, machine and materials for smooth productivity.
∎ Monitoring of production output and finding out bottle-necks, technical, quality, machinery problems with immediate solution.
∎ Ensure all line man & m/c in just time as per loading plan and KPI Measurement & present weekly, monthly & yearly.
∎ Try to make KAIZEN monthly & yearly and maintain smooth operation of cutting, sewing & finishing department and on time delivery of quality product as per plan and coordinate with material control department to ensure raw materials availability on time in the production floor.
∎ Train up all line chief, supervisor, production officer about how to improve Productivity & Efficiency%, also maintain 5s.
∎ Paper Layout & SMV, Daily Line Target set, Operator skill matrix update, SMV Database update follow up.
∎ Maintain an excellent co-ordination with production planning team and generate substitute quality team & other production support team to ensure quality production & on time shipment and communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
∎ Provide marketing SMV & thread consumption for marketing to Merchandising Dept.
∎ Try to use minimum resource & output maximum and any other assignment is given by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8 to 10 years where 3 to 4 years of practical working experience as IE Manager in the Knit garments industry;
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills;
∎ Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker;
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork;
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
