∎ There is a vacancy for the following regular positions based at LAMB Nursing Department, Parbatipur, Dinajpur.
∎ Job Summary: To provide quality nursing care to all patients and demonstrate leadership responsibility to all nursing staff.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Listens to report and notes special problems/concerns and follows through with them during the duty-
∎ 2. Attends rounds with doctors and accurately checks charts to carry out doctors' orders in a timely matter, promptly questioning orders that are unclear.
∎ 3. Monitors vital signs and intake/output notifying the doctor when indicated.
∎ 4. Administers medications via all routes as ordered by the doctor, within the allowed time frame promptly questioning orders that are not clearly understood.
∎ 5. Dressing changes and wound care with the appropriate technique.
∎ 6. Provides ongoing patient education in all issues (health, sanitation, breast-feeding, etc)
∎ 7. Performing appropriate prenatal-postnatal care on Maternity patients.
∎ 8. Assist in the labor room as assigned, performing normal deliveries under the supervision of advanced Midwives and assisting with complicated deliveries.
∎ 9. Rotating through the Antenatal Clinic and Mobile Clinics performing accurate assessments and referrals as needed.
∎ 10. Supervises Aide Nurses in their work, providing teaching in skills when it is needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 21 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Junior nursing course completed with valid BNMC registration.
Salary: Tk. 15700 (Monthly)
