Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Laboratory Technology (minimum 3 years course)
∎ Valid State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh (SMF) registration is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
LAB Assistant, Lab technician
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Clinic, Hospital
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Patient preparation
∎ Specimen collection
∎ Labelling of specimen
∎ Specimen storage
∎ Specimen transportation
∎ Specimen testing as per SOP
∎ Maintaining equipment and reagents
∎ Reporting routine and urgent tests and delivery of reports
∎ Recording and storing of laboratory data
∎ Maintaining health and safety regulations - infection prevention and waste disposal practices
∎ Indenting for office supplies, lab-ware and consumables
∎ Organization of reporting and recording
∎ Reporting and interpretation of results
∎ Follow and maintain all Experiences of NTP
∎ Must oblige by MCP, TIAHRT and Helms policy and maintain it strictly
∎ Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Clinic Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Self-motivated, time management skill; must possess the ability to work under pressure; sensitivity and understanding ethical issues; work independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Practical working experience in a laboratory and HSC passed with science background.
∎ Flexibility in age and education may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
