Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and manage all activities related to finishing operations in the garment production process. This includes coordinating with different departments such as cutting, sewing, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
∎ Ensuring the quality of finished garments is a crucial aspect of your role. You will implement and maintain quality control measures to meet the company's standards and customer requirements. This involves conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality products.
∎ You will be responsible for production planning and scheduling in the finishing department. Collaborating with production managers and other stakeholders, you will develop production plans, set targets, and allocate resources effectively.
∎ Monitoring production progress, identifying bottlenecks, and taking necessary actions to ensure on-time delivery is also part of your responsibilities.
∎ lead and manage a team of finishing supervisors, operators, and technicians. Providing guidance, training, and support, you will ensure the team's performance and productivity. You will handle staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required.
∎ Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of finishing machinery and equipment. Coordinating with the maintenance team, you will schedule regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
∎ Liaise with other departments, such as merchandising, sourcing, and logistics, to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient workflow. You will also interact with customers, suppliers, and external auditors when required.
∎ Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, quality, and other relevant aspects. Generating reports on production performance, quality metrics, and any issues or challenges encountered will be part of your regular tasks.
