Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in leading all aspects of sales development in conjunction with the SPML sales Program, coordinating all operations and financial activities.
∎ Develop sales and marketing planning, and budgeting, to ensure the achievement of strategic business goals and objectives of the company. Control annual budgets for sales & marketing expenses, forecast management plans, and prepare monthly performance, explaining variances.
∎ Executes, with minimal oversight, sales strategies, and tactical priorities to achieve annual objectives for the capture of market share, new appointments, submission growth, new premium growth, efficient sales activities, and product mix in the defined territory.
∎ Maintains solid product and appetite knowledge across all SHL business units and develops a broader understanding of all SPML products and capabilities. Thoroughly competent on all SPML production and reporting systems.
∎ Exhibits a thorough understanding of the local marketplace, SPML’s capabilities within that marketplace, and corporate vision. Identifies competitive threats and the company’s vulnerabilities and works with the senior leadership team to resolve them.
∎ Lead client presentations with proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations.
∎ Drive strategic thought leadership with customers leveraging SPML tools and assets.
∎ Identify opportunities for increased partnership and elevate those opportunities to organizational partners.
∎ Facilitate clear day-to-day communications with customers, proving the value of SPML solutions in support of growth, adoption, and value creation.
∎ Develop business relationships through membership and participation in professional, industry/trade, and civic organizations.
∎ Supporting community marketing efforts by positively influencing online presence, and offering input on advertising campaigns.
∎ Develop SOP, supervise & monitor SPML sales activities as per SOP.
∎ Escalate the issues to top management if required (case to case basis).
∎ Submit reports to management for the cases/objections/rectifications facing regularly.
