∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Professional certification in Supply Chain Management will get preference.
∎ Skills Required: Good Communication Skill (Bangla and English), MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for yarn that align with the company's goals and objectives.
∎ Identify potential local and foreign suppliers, assess their capabilities, and establish strong relationships to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain.
∎ Lead negotiations and contract agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.
∎ Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular assessments, and address any issues to maintain a high level of quality and reliability.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and forecast demand.
∎ Source and procure a variety of yarn, both domestically and internationally.
∎ Implement and enforce strict quality control processes for procured materials, ensuring standards and product specifications.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements related to yarn to inform procurement strategies.
∎ Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses of material
∎ Identify potential risks in the procurement process
∎ Build and lead a high-performing procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
∎ Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings achieved.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ In-depth understanding of yarn types and textile manufacturing requirements.
∎ Proven track record in sourcing and procuring materials from both local and foreign suppliers
∎ Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
∎ Demonstrated experience in leading and developing procurement teams.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software.
∎ Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
