Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Statistics /Economics/ URP/Social Science, preferably with honors from any recognized university.
Job Context:
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Emergency Response Program (ERP), Cox`s Bazar is looking for a suitable candidate for an immediate appointment of an M&E Officer as well as to prepare a panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh project.

∎ Job Nature : Temporary
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop questionnaires, arrange field-test before data collection, and devise other materials needed to extract data pertaining to the activities.
∎ Take the lead in providing support to upazila for collecting the required data and putting mechanisms in place for data validation.
∎ Prepare and implement monitoring tools for the project.
∎ Undertake field visits at the project area as per the demand of the project and make an individual plan for collecting da for project monitoring purposes.
∎ Conduct PDM, Baseline, Midline, End line surveys on the family profile of the project working/ implementing areas.
∎ Regularly update the community-based database, and measure project achievement as per log frame.
∎ Develop an MIS system for the project and prepare a monitoring report.
∎ Monitor the progress and performance of the project activities;
∎ Responsible for preparing monitoring reports of the Project as and when needed.
∎ Provide all the necessary information - analyzed data, success stories, and learning to support Program Manager in preparing quarterly reports.
∎ Support monthly sampled surveys using tablet computers in an online-based system that will be aggregated to create annual figures.
∎ Conduct all kinds of research activities, study/evaluation process, and data compilation and provide necessary support in the preparation of the study/evaluation report of the Project.
∎ Conduct training and help to develop the skills of the project personnel on various aspects of monitoring.
∎ Any other ad hoc duties related to Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) assigned by ERP Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar job in any NGO/INGO. (Women will be given special priority)
∎ Proven experience working in the emergency setting and extensive knowledge of the Rohingya and local culture and context.
∎ Excellent data management (collection, entry, analysis, and visualization) skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar platforms. Familiarity with analysis software such as Kobo, Comm Care, SPSS, STATA, etc. is a plus.
∎ High level of interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity to effectively interact with refugees and local communities.
∎ Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Knowledge of the local language will be given preference.
∎ Should be able to handle multiple tasks, manage priorities, and be committed to following organizational objectives, values, principles, and policies.
∎ Have good knowledge of safeguarding-related policies, GBV, Child protection policies, and other relevant policies.
Salary: Tk. 60000 - 65000 (Monthly)
