Responsibilities & Context
Assess patients’ occupational, developmental, speech, language, communication, sensory, and functional needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy and rehabilitation plans.
Provide appropriate occupational and speech-language therapy based on patient needs.
Support children and adults with developmental delays, autism, communication difficulties, motor and sensory challenges.
Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans as required.
Maintain accurate patient assessment, treatment, and progress records.
Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic activities and home-based exercises.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
