Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess ICU patients and identify changes in clinical condition.
Conduct patient rounds and coordinate appropriate treatment plans.
Manage and respond to medical emergencies within the ICU.
Assist in procedures and interventions as required in critical care settings.
Monitor vital signs, laboratory findings, and other relevant clinical parameters.
Coordinate effectively with Consultants, ICU Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with ICU protocols, hospital policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards.
Provide appropriate handover during shift changes.
Perform any other ICU-related clinical duties assigned by the authority.
