Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in any discipline from any reputed university.
∎ B.Sc. /M.Sc. in IPE/IPM/Textile Engineering/Apparel Merchandising/Knit Merchandising from BUET/KUET/SUST/BUTEX/BUFT/AUST/ any other reputed university will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and organizing production schedules.
∎ Inspect processed parts to verify dimensions, color, quantity and style against work order sample.
∎ Verify setup and adjustment of sewing machines.
∎ Review work orders to determine staffing requirements.
∎ Monitor man, machine and material for the smooth sewing operation.
∎ Inspect products throughout the processing stages to maintain specified standards.
∎ Train workers in the operation of machines and equipment.
∎ Report on productivity, materials used and inventory.
∎ Control and monitor costs and other overheads of the finishing Department within the budgeted limit.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs, and their career development plans.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in the workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Knowledge of modern production tools and techniques.
∎ Knowledge of Quality Assurances system.
∎ Goal orientation, Communication & Collaboration, Critical thinking & Problem solving, leading people & Process and Positive & Proactive.
∎ Handles other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 8-10 years' experience working in a Denim Manufacturer unit/Buying house/Clothing/Fashion Brand.
∎ Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing and speaking)
∎ Team player with proactive interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work hard and control Pressure
∎ Open minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.
∎ Self-starter & proactive
∎ Good interpersonal skill.
∎ Residence: Preferably in Gazipur.
