Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.
∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position for the Adolescent and Community Transformation (ACT) & Church and Community Transformation (CCT)Project funded by LAMB Health-UK and CEDAR Fund Hong Kong as follows;
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CCT project and ACT project. Also responsible for overall supervision of project staffs and programs, including work with local inter church network (ICN), denomination leaders, community leaders, health and family planning departments, LGIs, Schools, govt. Departments, adolescent groups on SRHR issues, etc. Lead project staff and mentoring for their development to bring sustainability to the churches and community adolescents. Creating gender-friendly environments in offices, ensuring staff`s education regarding child and vulnerable adult protection policies, and ensuring staff`s awareness of their obligation to report any allegation, concern, suspicion or disclosure of abuse or neglect to the proper authorities as per policy.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure baseline/ end line/ KAP survey of selected communities for CCT & ACT project.
∎ Provide necessary support to Church leaders, Community committee’s leaders, and aunties, Peer educators to functioning and implement Umoja process, life skill session for adolescent groups, auntie’s activity, weeding buster groups and community committees activity.
∎ Provide necessary support to Church/ICN leaders to functioning various groups, peer educators, weeding buster groups to support other adolescent to create awareness on SRH & MH issue at the project intervention area.
∎ Provide necessary support to local Churches to activate Local Church Coordination Committee (LCCC), CG &UH&FWC-MC, school teachers, health service providers to ensure sustainable quality service for adolescent and other community people.
∎ Ensure that local Church/community committees / CG & UH&FWC-MC, LGI’s have annual action/ development plan and resources map in place.
∎ Ensure that target communities are mobilized on Church development, improved sexual reproductive health and psycho-social wellbeing among adolescent at community level and taking appropriate action by the community.
∎ Regularly visit field activities and provide technical supports to selected groups/communities / beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure that Church and Community Transformation and Adolescent and Community Transformation programs are running within the budget and time.
∎ Responsible for day to day field program (ICN, adolescent groups, church groups) management of CCT and ACT project activities like Adolescent groups session, aunties counseling, community committees meeting to provide high standard of services
∎ Provide management and supervision supports to wedding buster group, peer educators, ICNs, adolescent groups, church groups by arranging regular weekly/fortnightly/monthly meeting/quarterly
∎ Maintain good working relation with other staffs of LAMB, groups and GO/NGOs
∎ Take responsibility within other areas of LAMB as required or assigned by the Project Management
∎ Keep records as project required and take necessary action through proper ways.
∎ Develop necessary training/workshop curriculums & materials; arranged and facilitated for Church/community leaders, Inter Church Network (ICN) leaders, community groups, school teacher, health and family planning staffs, adolescent facilitators (AF), peer educators on capacity development
∎ Arrange necessary steps to raise awareness on community mobilization programs and adolescent reproductive health program within LAMB and the local communities
∎ Ensure that implementation plan and budget developed for targeted area
∎ Provide supports to local groups on management, supervision and monitoring of field activities through workshop/training
∎ 3. Impact Assessment/Monitoring/Evaluation:
∎ Develop assessment/monitoring tools, evaluation guidelines in consultation with other CCT and ACT project staff and community leaders
∎ Ensure that accurate statistics data/ reports on CCT and ACT programs are collected and submitted to LAMB timely
∎ Ensure that participatory monitoring and evaluation system in place at field
∎ Ensure that yearly evaluation on CCT and ACT programs done in properly through using selected guidelines/topics
∎ Ensure proper documentation of impact of the program and lesson learned
∎ Prepare reports for donors, Organizational and Board meetings
∎ Arrange to disseminate impact of CCT and ACT projects to churches, communities, NGOs and governments
∎ Assist ICN leaders, peer educators, community committees leaders to influence government departments to have state facilities to develop church members , to improve health ASRH and MH for adolescents and others.
∎ Attend coordination meetings, workshops, seminars at Union, Upazila and district level.
∎ Take initiatives to organize training/workshop meetings for local government and NGOs
∎ Develop a better relationship and coordination with Local Governments, UWAO, UPIO, ULO, UAO, UH&FPO,UFPO, USEO, UEO, UNO, and other NGOs
∎ Arrange field visits for the government, donor or NGO officials as per schedule or necessary.
∎ Prepare and monitor project budget as per requirement of CCT & ACT project
∎ Approve invoice of program within level of authority
∎ Review project financial report
∎ Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before meeting, workshop, seminar & trainings
∎ Ensure availability of religious books and references at all offices, sub-offices/centers
∎ Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ Ensure religious and organizational values among staffs following organizational policies including safeguarding policy (child protection, adult vulnerable policy)
∎ Promote LAMB values
∎ Ensure that all community staff understand LAMB Mission, vision and values
∎ Be example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision and values

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in the development field.
∎ Experience in working with extremely poor households in hard-to-reach areas will be an added advantage.
∎ The position requires basic knowledge and skills in developing and implementing adolescent health and spiritual programs.
∎ Health & development related training required.
∎ Able to drive a motorcycle with a full valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary: Tk. 65000 - 70000 (Monthly)
