Job Context:
∎ People`s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) is a national Non-Governmental Development Organization with a vision to build a prudent nation free from hunger and poverty where every citizen leads a life with dignity and equity. Presently it has development partnership arrangements with government entities and more than 40 diversified development partners, Bank and other financial institutions operating at international, national and regional level. Currently, it has been implementing multi-sectoral socio-economic development projects and programs across Bangladesh.

∎ In partnership with Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), People`s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) will implement the "Community based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA)" at Nikli, Kishoreganj with an aim to build resilience towards climate change impacts; build resistance against domestic violence and child marriage; empower vulnerable communities especially women and girls, to address the socio-economic effects of climate at Nikli, Kishoreganj. The outcomes of the project are: Service providers both public and local government institutions are responsive, and increased access to the quality services of community specially women & girls. Improved resilience of the most vulnerable coastal, char, hill, and haor communities to climate change impact. Empowered women and girls are dealing with inequality, social injustice, violence incidences and participated in voice raising and protests. Strong voices and decisions are in place against DVAW and child marriage. Decrease in rate of child marriage and DVAW in the selected climate vulnerable areas. Risks related to poverty will be decreased with increased family income and alternative livelihoods options. To achieve above mentioned outcomes People`s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.

∎ Project Duration : 1 March to 30 June 2026
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Responsible for arranging awareness, advocacy, training and other programs at union level. S/he will supervise FFs. S/he will be responsible for data validation from the field with support from FFs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulating and implementing team plans to meet project goals and objectives.
∎ Guiding the facilitators in implementing the activities at the specified time and taking necessary initiatives for their capacity building.
∎ Organizing and conducting trainings, meetings, seminars, workshops at union and upazila levels.
∎ Identifying issues to address GBV and climate change impacts and taking effective initiatives to address them.
∎ Communicating and coordinating with various stakeholders to enhance beneficiaries' access to justice.
∎ Establishing effective communication and relationship with likeminded organizations and organizing and conducting their regular meetings.
∎ To increase the capacity of upazila and union level disaster management committee and to identify the local problem to deal with the impact of disaster and to coordinate with the concerned parties to deal with the problem.
∎ Providing assistance to the Climate Action Group (CAG) in establishing effective linkages and coordination of Union and Upazila Disaster Management Committees.
∎ Preserving relevant documents (photos, video clips, case studies etc.) for future reference.
∎ Assists PC in preparation and submission of all reporting requirements and generation of quarterly/half yearly and annual reports.
∎ Maintain a beneficiary database for online reporting purposes.
∎ Prepare Quarterly IPTT and result based monitoring report.
∎ Develop close relationship with Accounts and Admin Officers, Field Facilitators (FF).
∎ Share findings and provide necessary feedback, guidance to field facilitators and project coordinators to ensure more effective and quality work in the field.
∎ S/he will be reportable to the Project Coordinator.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ The PO Should have at least 3 years' experience in working with community-based programs. He should have 1/2 years' experience to work with projects focused on climate change / livelihood / gender-based violence and governance / right based approach.
Salary:
∎ around 33,000/- per month gross.
