Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is going to implement a new Project named "Nutrition in City Ecosystems (NICE)" in Rangpur with the support of Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture Bangladesh. RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill up the position of "Project Officer" under "Nutrition in City Ecosystems" (NICE)Project. The position is based in Rangpur district.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan the program implementation timeline under the guidance of Project Coordinator
∎ Ensure all project activities and interventions are conducted and adopted maintaining the deadline and technical integrity;
∎ Communicate with LG’s authority to ensure relevant assistance for implementation of planned activities;
∎ Maintain a good collaboration and coordination with LG’s different GO-NGOs, private sector and other stakeholders;
∎ Organize meetings, workshops, trainings, day observations at different level events;
∎ Establishing and well-functioning of a farmers’ hub and linking projects farmers with markets and suitable agri-credit at unit level;
∎ Ensure necessary reports and documents to Project Coordinator;
∎ Any other activities as instructed by the Project Coordinator.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years' experience in relevant field.
∎ Understanding and skills in implementing agriculture value chains Skills in managing a team and ensure the quality implementation of project activities following the guidance.
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
∎ Good interpersonal communication skill and command over English and Bangla-both spoken and written.
∎ Having a valid driving license must be willing to do extensive field visits by motorcycle in rural areas.
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
