∎ The candidate who thrives in this role must possess the ability to develop necessary testing and automation frameworks for their projects. As a result, they may need to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while also enhancing the company`s testing practices.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, implement and execute test cases
∎ Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
∎ Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
∎ Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
∎ Evaluate the testing process, make recommendations as necessary
∎ Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
∎ Performs technical analysis to identify the scope and schedule for upcoming projects and individual work items, enforces QA standards for all phases of testing
∎ Provide input towards general process improvements; be an active participant in code reviews and retrospectives.
∎ Develop test plans that cover all functional and non-functional (usability, scalability/load, security, etc.) requirements for a given project and that meet the overall testing and quality assurance goals of the applications.
∎ Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and identify and implement process improvements
∎ Testing experience in Android & iOS Apps
∎ Hands-on experience with automated testing tools preferably Cypress
∎ API test experience
∎ Take ownership of your work and continuously strive for improvement
∎ Familiarity with DevOps concepts and methodologies
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills to report test results in a clear and compelling manner
Salary:
∎ An attractive compensation package (35,000/- to 50,000/-)
