∎ For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for QUALITY ASSURANCE TEAM LEADER
∎ The successful candidate will work closely with the Sourcing Manager, Merchandise Manager, Suppliers and Buyers in Europe.
∎ Availability: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Pattern & Fitting Checking
∎ Good knowledge on all products: Woven / Denim, Jersey, Sweater
∎ Reporting Specially to Head of Quality, Buyers, Country Manager, Merchandise Manager
∎ Develop QA Processes and Procedures, preparing / checking inspection reports before sending to buyers, outline testing processes, generating use cases to ensure that testing captures company requirements also introduces and updates the processes in collaboration with their team and developers.
∎ Direct QA Teams, manage the day-to-day activities of QA team members, including inspection scheduling and managing ongoing projects, conduct QA training and evaluation if necessary and may provide support during inspection.
∎ Need to assess current testing needs and schedules and determine staffing needs to effectively conduct the testing.
∎ Oversee team members' work to ensure that they adhere to company specifications.
∎ Identify fault and Issues, play an active role in inspection, following the processes and procedures that company developed and apply new and updated systems for identify production fault and other issues.
∎ Maintain Documentation, throughout the development and QA process, QA team leaders have to maintain detailed documentation related to the production, inspection and status.
∎ Leading the process of the pre-production meeting, inline and pre final and final inspections, testing sample picking.
∎ Working in collaboration with the TW Quality team & with factory to ensure proper quality standards and implement all quality process to ensure TW Quality.
∎ Lead the quality production follow-up
∎ Strong knowledge about sewing line setup /machine layout and about IE/work study to make good plan and layout
∎ Resolve manufacturing problems, offering on the spot solutions during the inspections
∎ Train and evaluate supplier to meet TW standards
∎ Before starting production collect the approval samples, files from merchandisers and co-ordinate with RQS / GPQ team/factory for risk analysis.
∎ Scheduling and arranging each styles PP meeting (cutting / quality / production all teams) among the QA teams before start production.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 to 8 years' experience in same position
∎ Must be fluent in English, excellent English knowledge orally and written
∎ Experience at a liaison office or buying house will be an advantage
∎ Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in any discipline
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspect of quality control methods and practices.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Good in planning and analytical skills and leading the QA team.
∎ Must be cooperative and able to work in a team as well as independently in a fast paced environment
∎ Must have good knowledge & skills in computing specially on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
∎ Candidate should be self-motivated and should have positive attitude, solution orientate mindset to sustain the nice Tally Weijl office environment
∎ Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
