Educational Requirements:
∎ B. Sc. Engineering in Electrical with Diploma in Electrical
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain electrical systems by establishing and enforcing maintenance schedules and procedures and testing programs, scheduling repairs, and coordinating shut-downs and installations.
∎ Electrical design work on electrical systematic drawings, electrical equipment layout, control principle and connection and terminals diagram, electrical cable laying drawings, and erection drawings.
∎ Meets operational goals by contributing information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, preparing and enacting action plans, maintaining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions.
∎ Forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and taking effective corrective actions.
∎ Ensures stable electrical supply by maintaining equipment and outlets, including an energy management system for prototyping and assembly systems.
∎ Provides power and connectivity, running electrical wiring for common and dedicated electrical outlets and fixtures.
∎ Supports engineering needs by responding to service requests for electrical problems.
∎ Ensures compliance with all applicable COC and buyers regulations and advises senior management on requirements.
∎ Maintains material and equipment supplies by regularly monitoring inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, placing and expediting electrical material orders and reviewing and approving invoices.
∎ Preserves equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand, regularly performing preventive maintenance and promptly scheduling repairs.
∎ Achieves electrical maintenance staffing objectives through the recruitment, selection, training, assignment, scheduling, coaching and discipline of employees communicates job expectations.
∎ Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver electrical operations.
∎ Make sure the work follows strict health and safety guidelines as per COC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Excellent in inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates.
∎ Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships across the organization.
∎ Negotiation and Convince Skill
