Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a hands-on, detailed-oriented Senior QA Engineer to oversee the testing of our software products and platform as part of a cross-functional team in a versatile development environment. The Senior QA Engineer will report to the Project Manager(s).
∎ This role will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the engineering team and partner with product owners and business stakeholders to define scope and acceptance criteria.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will conduct automated and manual testing of new and existing software to maintain high quality standards, with a focus on effective use of automation
∎ Manage QA coding standards and frameworks and improve adoption of industry standard practices in test engineering
∎ Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, UX designers and business stakeholders in defining and scoping software features and acceptance criteria
∎ Track, document, and report quality KPIs and metrics
∎ Mentor and develop junior QA engineers as the team expands
∎ Required Skills/Abilities:
∎ 3+ years of experience as QA engineer
∎ Knowledge of quality assurance terminology and methods
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of software quality assurance best practices
∎ Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
∎ Hands-on experience with automated functional software testing
∎ Knowledge of performance testing (load testing, stress testing, etc.) and security testing (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, etc.)
∎ Familiarity with automation and platform testing tools like Selenium, , API testing, AWS/Digital Ocean
