Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalised service; Know your product.
∎ Knowledge of the food and drink menu makes it easier to sell   our products and service our guests;
∎ Solve our guests’ needs by suggestively selling our food and beverage items. Accommodate our guests’ time restrictions through timely service and double-checking;
∎ Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served;
∎ Assist management in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in your surroundings (i.e. Counter, floor, tables and service stations clean and are all guests happy.
∎ Notify Manager / Supervisor of specific guests’ needs and requests;
∎ Perform all assigned opening/running/closing duties;Assist the Cleaners by clearing tables of all used plates, glassware, etc. and by bussing tables and spot sweeping, as needed;
∎ Assist the kitchen expediter, cooks, and outside expediter by ringing orders accurately, and by correctly filling out food and beverage requests;
∎ Deliver all food and beverage (yours and others), in an expedient manner;
∎ Act as a role Model to co-workers by displaying a high level of professionalism and integrity;
∎ Always inform a Manager / Supervisor when leaving the Counter for any reason;
∎ Never leave the Counter for any reason, when you are on the clock, unless given permission by your Manager or Supervisor.
