Title: Short Term Consultant to IFC-PaCT for Resource Efficiency Assessments

Educational Requirements:
∎ At least Bachelors or equivalent professional degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Scope of Work: Specific duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
∎ Assist Component 1 lead in implementing and monitoring Cleaner Production and Combined Energy Efficiency and Productivity assessments
∎ Assist Component 1 lead in factory client's recruitment which includes organizing kick off meetings for them; facilitate background research for factory clients to be used for IDD purposes.
∎ Facilitate signing of formal engagement letters with each factory/client; and track collection of fees from the clients.
∎ Support in field mobilization.
∎ Support in managing the factory data base, reports and feedback etc.
∎ Support in initial review of technical reports and provide comments.
∎ Support in conducting monthly factory visits to ensure project implementation is on target
∎ Support in consolidation of monthly monitoring reports and track project performance indicators.
∎ Support in development of project related case studies.
∎ Support in market outreach and program promotion activities by working with communications team to develop project related communication materials.
∎ Support in organizing events/workshops with stakeholders.
∎ Support in all level of communications with stakeholders
∎ Support in data entry for participating factories in web-based remote monitoring platform
∎ Compile and validate all data for internal reporting/PSR documents.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior experience working in the development sector is desirable.
∎ At least 2-5 years of professional experience with an international organization or Brands/Buying House, preferably assisting project management, consultants' management and interacting with multiple project partners/factories etc.
∎ Relevant experience in implementing resource efficiency/cleaner production in the Textile sector will be an added advantage
∎ Good inter-personal skills to communicate with and manage internal and external client relationships for successful project implementation
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla (spoken and written)
∎ Willingness to travel outside of Dhaka as and when required
