Job Responsibilities:
∎ -Execute, Monitor & Manage VAT and Customs-related works as well as able to maintain all VAT-related Books of Accounts.
∎ -Maintain VAT Deduction at Source (VDS).
∎ -Close liaison with VAT & Customs circle and division as well as VAT Inspector & other related personnel.
∎ -Ensure proper compliance with the VAT Act and rules.
∎ -Ensure proper preparation and submission of Online VAT Returns.
∎ -Bank Deposit (Treasury SD / VAT/ VDS & Others).
∎ -Good knowledge of ATV, AT, AIT, CD, RD & SD.
∎ -To prepare related papers & documents in connection with VAT & Customs audits.
∎ -Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushok - 9.1) and other related documents as such Mushok 4.3, 6.3, 6.4, 6.6, 6.10 as per new VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 & also has to keep these records in NBR approved VAT software and own MS Excel.
∎ -Adapt to concerns relating to new Tax & VAT rules, SROs and amendments.
∎ Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
