Additional Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a garments fabric store/warehouse.
Experience in the RMG/textile industry will be preferred.
Good knowledge of fabric types, rolls, shades, lots, GSM, width, and inventory control.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/store management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Honest, disciplined, and capable of managing a team independently
Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and hardworking Garments Fabric Store Manager to manage our fabric store/warehouse and ensure smooth and efficient inventory operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the garments fabric store/warehouse.
Receive, inspect, count, and properly store incoming fabrics.
Maintain accurate records of fabric quantity, quality, color, shade, width, lot, and roll numbers.
Ensure proper fabric storage, labeling, stacking, and identification.
Issue fabrics to production according to approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct regular physical stock counting and reconcile differences.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Cutting, Planning, and Purchase departments.
Monitor fabric wastage, shortages, damages, and excess stock.
Ensure proper documentation for receiving and issuing materials.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO or company-approved stock rotation procedures where applicable.
Supervise store staff and allocate daily duties.
Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective action.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Support internal and external audits when required.
