Responsibilities & Context:
∎ iSTEM English Medium School is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing quality education integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) along with English language proficiency. Located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, iSTEM aims to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and character development among its students.
∎ iSTEM English Medium School is seeking passionate and qualified Subject Teachers in English, Bangla, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths with experience in teaching O and A level curriculum. The Subject Teachers will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, facilitating student learning, and fostering a positive learning environment within their respective subject areas.
∎ a) Curriculum Delivery:
∎ Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the O and A level curriculum requirements and educational objectives.
∎ Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
∎ b) Student Assessment:
∎ Develop and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student progress, comprehension, and achievement.
∎ Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
∎ c) Classroom Management:
∎ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and academic success.
∎ Establish and enforce classroom rules, routines, and expectations to maintain discipline and order.
∎ Individualized Instruction:
∎ Identify individual learning needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students and differentiate instruction accordingly.
∎ Provide additional support, guidance, and resources to students as needed to ensure their academic success.
∎ d) Parent and Stakeholder Communication:
∎ Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and stakeholders to provide updates on student progress, academic performance, and behavioral concerns.
∎ Collaborate with parents and stakeholders to address student needs and support their academic development.
∎ e) Professional Development:
∎ Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on subject-specific knowledge, teaching methodologies, and best practices.
∎ Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and professional growth.
