Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
∎ Install and upgrade computer components and software. Manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes
∎ Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
∎ Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgradation of IT infrastructure
∎ Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
∎ Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
∎ Manage Linux and Windows servers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
∎ Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
∎ Experience with scripting and automation tools
∎ A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
∎ Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
∎ Microsoft Office365, Exchange 2010 & 2013 administration, configuration & deployment
∎ Microsoft SCCM 2012 architecture, configuration & administration for patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, network access protection and hardware and software inventory
∎ UNIX, Linux & Windows OS Administration skills.
∎ Must be capable of lifting 1U and 2U rack mounted servers up to 35 pounds and familiar with the use of Rack Jacks and general data center safety procedures
∎ Knowledge of data center power system PDU, 120/240v would be helpful & Knowledge of wire and cable management would be a plus
