Job Context:

∎ There is a vacancy for the following position based at LAMB English Medium School in Parbatipur. The school serves about 130 pupils, including many staff children.
∎ Job Summary: Through delivering quality teaching, to work toward the goal of learning that supports each school child in reaching his or her full potential, physically, mentally, spiritually and academically. To communicate regularly in English.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and follow lesson plans
∎ Adjust for the children in the class
∎ Prepare materials for classes
∎ Create appropriate materials for classes
∎ Sets targets that are possible for children to reach
∎ Communicate with students’ parents or guardians
∎ Record information about students regularly
∎ Provide information for student reports and meetings
∎ Record attendance and absence of students
∎ Supervise students during break times as scheduled
∎ Maintain and upgrade personal teaching skills
∎ Plan and use a variety of teaching activities that encourages
∎ Ensure that all children are engaged and working
∎ Encourage those who are not at the same level as the class
∎ Challenge those who do well
∎ Maintain continuous learning attitude (academic and behavioural)
∎ Advanced technical skills in one or more subject areas.
∎ Develop engaging and innovative lessons that allow our students to grow academically, socially and emotionally
∎ Incorporate hands-on learning experiences into the classroom
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Teaching skills (able to care for and communicate with children and to think about the different ways they learn), strong interpersonal skills, willingness to work with children with special needs and to accept input while learning new skills.
∎ Fluency in English speaking, reading and writing are a must.
∎ Ability to type in English preferred.
∎ *Please express interest clearly and list previous teaching experience. (We require staff to teach Science to children age 8 to 14 years.)
Salary:
∎ Tk. 18500 - 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary will depend on skills and experience, benefits include medical care at LAMB.
