Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree pass. B.Ed. preferred.
Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.
∎ There are two vacancies for the following positions based at LAMB English Medium School in Parbatipur. The school serves about 150 pupils, including many staff children.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Teaching skills (able to care for and communicate with young children, and to think about the different ways they learn), strong interpersonal skills, willingness to work with children with special needs and accept input while learning new skills. Fluency in English speaking, reading and writing are a must. Ability to type in English is preferred. Candidates who do not have relevant educational qualifications but possess skills to teach can also apply (eg No BSc certificate but if candidate can teach Science can also apply)
∎ *Please express your preferred subject interest clearly and list previous teaching experience. (We require staff to teach English or Science or Maths or Social Science to children aged 6 years to 14 years.) (Start date 16 July 2023 for classes starting in August 2023)
Salary:
∎ Tk. 14500 - 17000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary for experienced, qualified teachers Tk. 14,500-17,000 per month gross, benefits include medical care at LAMB. Staff at LAMB school agree that they will not provide paid private tuition while they are employed by the school.
