JNUS is searching for candidates to fill the role of Technical person WASH under the project entitled "Support to FDMN in Cox`s Bazar and Bhasanchar in Education and WASH Sector" under Pooled Fund Supported by BRAC.
∎ Job Location: Camp -3, Cox`s Bazar (Ukhiya)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly work plan for the operation and maintenance of WASH facilities in his/her assigned block/camps that are included but not limited to water distribution network, solid waste management sites and FSMs.
∎ Manage daily labor & SWM volunteers to ensure hygienic environment in the assigned block/camps.
∎ Conduct capacity building training/On-job coaching for SWM workers.
∎ New Construction (Communal Latrine, Bathing Cubicle's etc.) as per BOQ provided by Sector/RRRC.
∎ Regular monitor the needs of Repair and maintenance of WASH facilities and take action as per required.
∎ Communication with relevant stakeholders and partner agencies for the smooth operations.
∎ Ensure 100% functionality of WASH facilities in the assigned block/camps.
∎ Validate quality materials are received in the field from vendors/other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure the careful use, regular servicing and appropriate replacement of all equipment for the assigned project.
∎ Ensure close liaison & consultation with Communities leaders, Imam, Majhi during implementation of the WASH services.
∎ Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly O & M report, monitoring reports etc.
∎ Maintain Safety & Security of the project staff and project related people.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Any emergency task provided by JNUS Authority.
∎ Age bellow or equal to 40 years; age limit may be relaxed for the competent candidates.
∎ Minimum 02 years in NGO/INGOs/ Development Project/Govt. WASH Project, etc.
∎ Excellent facilitation, communication in English and interpersonal skills.
∎ Sound knowledge and familiarity with ICT applications.
∎ Having mentality to stay in project areas.
∎ Willingness to work with under pressure and travel.
∎ Local candidates will be given priority.
∎ Sound knowledge on Safeguarding policy and Gender policy.
Salary: Negotiable
