Job Context:
∎ Project title:"Community-based capacity building initiatives for service providers strengthening, sexual and reproductive health and rights of early married girls, adolescents, and young people"
∎ POLLISREE is a well reputed national NGO started its work in 1987 and working in 7 Districts of Bangladesh. POLLISREE to implement the :"Community-based capacity building initiatives for service providers strengthening, sexual and reproductive health and rights of early married girls, adolescents, and young people" project in Sadar Upazials 10 Union under Dinajpur district which is funded by Nuffic . This project is focused to improve SRH rights and quality of relevant services for EMGs, adolescents, and young people through tailor-made training. To achieve this, the project will develop a sustainable trainer team at TdH NL and partners` level who in turn will provide training and their best support to the community and institutions to be equipped with knowledge and skills on SRHR. For smooth implement the project POLLISREE is seeking the qualified staffs according to the following conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select beneficiaries, organize groups and mobilize the beneficiaries such as early married girls (below the age of 18 years), adolescent boys and girls (10-19 years), young boys and girls (15-24 years), spouses and in-laws of EMGs, community health workers, change makers and pressure-group members.
∎ Organize, coordinate and contribute to conduct training need assessment of targeted beneficiaries and key stakeholders.
∎ Participate in ToT sessions on Sexuality, SRHR and Emotional Well-being; Behavioural Change Communication; Advocacy, Negotiation and Leadership Skills; Gender Equality, and Sexual and Gender Based Violence; and Child Safeguarding
∎ Coordinate and contribute to develop and modify the training curriculum, modules, schedules, related handouts and other materials on:
∎ Sexuality, SRHR and emotional well-being;
∎ Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) and ensuring victim appropriate communication;
∎ Advocacy, leadership, and negotiation skills;
∎ Gender equality, and sexual and gender based violence (SGBV); and
∎ Child safeguarding.
∎ Develop training strategy, plan, and ensure implementation/conduction of training for target beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Utilize innovative tools and methods during the training session.
∎ Draft and manage training budget
∎ Monitor and document results and impacts of the training and prepare reports.
∎ Contribute in the process of baseline survey of this project along with technical partner JPG School of Public Health and lead partner Terre des Hommes Netherlands
∎ Conducting and facilitating Meeting/Workshop/orientation/dialogue related to the sexuality, SRHR and SGBV issues with internal and external audience of the project along with targeted beneficiaries and stakeholders
∎ Supervise regular periodic verification of activities with action plan of the project and prepare reports
∎ Maintain database of the training participants and maintaining/updating in regular interval
∎ Collect and collate quarterly, annual and project completion reports
∎ Participate in different workshops, meetings, seminars, training/ToT sessions and represent the project among the other stakeholders
∎ Give inputs in developing project documents, such as communications and training materials, contents and training calendar, reports and presentations, etc.
∎ Preparing and disseminate various reports (when required) for the internal project staffs/senior management and external stakeholders
∎ Regularly tracking training/project learning's, best practices and challenges, and contributing in conducting reflection and learning sessions with the various stakeholders.
∎ Maintain regular communication with local authorities of DGHS and DGFP of Dinajpur District.
∎ Perform any other task as assigned by the respective supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 55 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates must be proficient in both verbal and written in English & Bangla.
∎ Candidates must have to be smart, energetic and presentable.
∎ Have learning attitude & interested to work in a diversified environment with honesty, sincerity.
∎ Must have the mentality to work as a team member
∎ Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office Package & Internet)
∎ Have valid motor bike driving license and willingness to move frequently
Salary: Tk. 28000 - 30000 (Monthly)
