Job Context:
∎ Project: Collective Responsibility, Action and Accountability for Improved Nutrition (CRAAIN) project supported by Concern Worldwide Bangladesh
∎ Assignment period: Three years
∎ Closing Date: 5 pm, Saturday, 07 March 2020

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement project activities in the project area following a participatory approach.
∎ Maintain relationship between beneficiaries and the project management through capacity building and technical support activities at the union level.
∎ Look into all small actions and to capture small achievements. Work with Team members to deal with local governance issues very carefully and motivate people to act as change maker of the community.
∎ Conduct ground survey to identify and select project direct beneficiaries through rapport building and subsequent need assessment.
∎ Maintain effective functional coordination with Project Manager, Project Coordinator and team members in discharging day-to-day activities.
∎ Maintain functional coordination with local Civil Society, Govt. and private service providers, UP Bodies and community people.
∎ Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in this program.
∎ Attend various meetings at the Union and Upazila level and presenting the project activities before government authorities when necessary.
∎ Maintain coordination with JJS Management through UC & PC.
∎ Prepare regular reports especially after completion of an intervention and submit with bill vouchers for adjustment within timeline.
∎ Comply Policies of JJS and Undertake role and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the UC, PC and JJS Administration.
∎ Besides the stated responsibilities everyone must follow strictly the instructions of his/her respective supervisor
∎ Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the senior management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
∎ At least 3-year progressively responsible relevant work experience in any reputed development organization. Working experience with nutrition project is considered preferable.
∎ Demonstrated experience of working with local level government structures to strengthen the capacity of the state to take ownership for and deliver services
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of community mobilization
∎ Self-motivated and results orientated
∎ Excellent ability to interact effectively with civil society, media, privet sector, collaborating agencies, local and government partners
∎ Positive attitude as development activities
∎ Fluency in Bengali writing and speaking and English is preferable.
∎ Computer operating knowledge.
∎ Qualification: Report writing capacity in Bangla, Computer and communication skills.
Salary: Tk. 23000 (Monthly)
